How Does STb Social 6 Work?
The braces are virtually invisible and are based on the very latest dental technology. The thin brackets are fixed into place on the back of your teeth and they use a self-ligating system that makes this brace more comfortable to wear, while ensuring treatment is highly effective. Teeth can be moved into the correct position in a short period of time compared to using traditional braces. If you opt for this braces system you could expect the results within just a few weeks. Most people will be able to finish treatment in less than four months.
Can Anyone Wear This Brace?
If you are interested in this type of brace then it’s worth making an appointment at our surgery. These types of invisible braces in Kent will be suitable for many people, but they won’t be right for everyone. They are not designed to treat more severe orthodontic problems but work best on mild to moderate cases. Our dentists in Kent will be able to advise you as to whether or not you will get the kind of results you’d like with the system, or if you’d be better off using a different type of brace. We will not recommend this treatment unless we think it’s suitable for you.
Is This Type of Brace Comfortable to Wear?
STb Social 6 invisible braces are designed to be very comfortable to wear, as the brackets are small and unobtrusive and should not rub. However all orthodontic systems to create a small level of discomfort initially, not least because the braces will probably feel quite bulky when first fitted. The wires used in this particular orthodontic system are extremely thin and light, increasing comfort levels. It is possible that you may find your speech sounds slightly different when these braces are first fitted, but once you get used to them you should be able to speak perfectly normally.
