I have a dental emergency, how can you help?
Our Gravesend practice is open six days a week including Saturdays, with late night opening until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Patients nearly always get seen the same day, but the earlier in the day you contact us, the better.

Sometimes you need to see your dentist right away and thereÎs no better place to get treatment than right here at Parrock Dental. We see many patients with all types of toothache. It can be caused by many different things and can range in severity from mild discomfort to severe pain.

Some tooth pain can be treated by your dentist quickly and efficiently. Infections can be treated with antibiotics, and with the right prescription the pain from abscesses or swelling can quickly subside. Sometimes painful nerves can be removed under local anaesthetic, quickly relieving your pain.
When to call 999 with a dental emergency
There are some dental emergencies that may require a trip to your hospitalÎs A&E department. This could include:
If youÎve got swelling thatÎs stopping you from breathing
If either of your eyes are closing over because of swelling
You have very severe bleeding that is uncontrolled
You have swelling under the tongue, or if the tongue starts to lift (as this can also obstruct the airway and cause a medical emergency)
